Chanel Logo

The Chanel logotype is an interlocking double-C, one facing forwards the other facing backwards. (Originally it was not a logo that Coco Chanel came up with) This derives from the name Coco Chanel. "Coco" is the nickname frequently used by Chanel founder, Gabrielle Chanel. The logotype was not trade-marked until the opening of the first Chanel stores.

Karl Lagerfeld

Karl Otto Lagerfeld was born September 1933, he is recognized as one of the most influential fashion designers of all time. He has worked with many fashion houses including Chloe and Fendi although his main interest is with the Fashion label Chanel. Karl Lagerfeld also owns several labels of his own, which he launched in the 1980's. 

About the Designer Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel

Gabrielle Bonheur 'Coco' Chanel was the founder of the Chanel Brand, she was born in 1883 and was a French Fashion Designer. she was known for her menswear - inspired fashion and the effortless elegance in her designs. Chanel was most famous for her successes with 'the little black dress'. Chanel's little black dress made history when it was shoes in the 3rd ever edition of Playboy magazine. Chanel collection grew to clothing to shoes to accessories, perfumes and makeup. It is now an empire in which Karl Lagerfeld Designs. Gabrielle Chanel passed away in 1971.

The Exotics range are made to draw attention and stir conversation. The range is made to be very different and interesting compared to the traditional shoe. They are usually designed in a bright or shiny color to stand out. They are also famous for the animal skins in which they are also designed in. the look of the Exotic shoe is very high fashion and risky, the shoe is meant to stand out and  give an edge to the outfit.  

The Chanel boot collection range from being very classic to very dramatic. The dramatic boots are made to be he main focus of the outfit, the are usually designed with bold coloring and patterned printing. The classic collection are simple and elegant usually made 

in black. 

 

Chanel sandals are made very dramatic and fun. they are made in bright summer colors and usually have a focus point on then. they are made in heals or flats 

Flats are one of Chanel's widest ranges they are in every seasons designers and the range is created for all ages. the classic flat shoe are an enclosed slip on with the channel logo appearing on the front of the shoe. Chanel also has a high fashion line of flats which are made to make a statement 

Chanel pumps are always designed to be simple and classy, they are are a pointed toe shoe with either a large or small heal. Chanel usually designs one pump and makes it different by having it in every color they can think of.

 Platform range are the most recent range from Chanel, they are always a stand out shoe and are the focus of an outfit. Chanel platforms are designed in many colors and styles but are always eye catching and hight end fashion. the detailing on the platforms is amazing with it being on the shoe and the heal.
